Results from our last survey (favorite stock for 2026) are running a little behind as a group so far YTD, up a 17% YTD gain (vs R2 up 20%) with 45% of stocks outperforming. Still, there are some strong picks amongst that group led by Twist Bioscience’s 197% YTD gain, Methode Electronics (up 152%), Compass Diversified (up 115%). There’s still time yet for underperformers to turn around. Results from last year’s picks ended quite strong averaging a 21% YTD gain (outperforming by 660 bps) with 55% of stocks outperforming in ‘25. Our survey for ’24 Favorite Stocks also did quite well with nearly two-thirds outperforming and around 1000 bps average outperformance. We also conducted a mid-year survey last year for Favorite 2H’25 performers. Those stocks averaged a 20% gain in 2H’25, outperforming by 500 bps.
